SMS Notification Policy

SMS Program Overview

BizDin sends SMS notifications to help you coordinate business dinners. We send timely updates about dinner invitations, guest responses, and reminders.

Types of Messages

  • Dinner Invitations: When you're invited to a business dinner
  • Guest Responses: When guests submit their dining preferences
  • Reminders: 24-hour reminders before scheduled dinners
  • Confirmations: When restaurant bookings are confirmed
  • AI Assistant: Conversational help with dinner planning (optional)

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your dinner activity. You may receive:

  • 1 message per dinner invitation
  • 1 message per guest response (if you're organizing)
  • 1 reminder per upcoming dinner
  • Variable messages if using the AI assistant

Most users receive 1-5 messages per week. Message and data rates may apply.

How to Opt-In

You can opt-in to BizDin SMS notifications in two ways:

1. Account Settings (for registered users)

  • Log in to your BizDin account
  • Go to Settings → Profile
  • Add your phone number
  • Check "Enable SMS notifications"
  • Save changes

2. Dinner Invitation Form (for guests)

  • Receive a dinner invitation link
  • Fill out the preference form
  • Optionally provide your phone number
  • Check "Send me SMS notifications"
  • Submit the form

By providing your phone number and enabling SMS notifications, you consent to receive text messages from BizDin at the number provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase or use of BizDin services.

How to Opt-Out

You can stop receiving SMS messages at any time:

  • Reply STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, or CANCEL to any message
  • Disable SMS notifications in your account settings
  • Remove your phone number from your profile

After opting out, you'll receive one final confirmation message. You can re-subscribe at any time by replying START or updating your settings.

Privacy & Data

BizDin respects your privacy. We:

  • Only send messages you've consented to receive
  • Never sell or share your phone number with third parties
  • Use Twilio as our SMS provider (see Twilio Privacy Policy)
  • Allow you to delete your data at any time

Supported carriers include all major US carriers (AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, etc.). Message and data rates may apply based on your carrier plan.
